Your Daily Energy

“You can do, get one more.”

“That’s it.  Nice job.”

“I didn’t think I could do that many.”

“No one ever does until they try. ”

When we feel something is worth doing, we need to do the work necessary.  The best things in life do not come easy, but come with consistency, patience, and work.  When you have the determination and dedication to achieve something, you have the ingredients necessary to accomplish anything in your life!

Let go of the “quick fix” approach to life.  Most things require slow, consistent effort to accomplish.   Too many times, society tries to convince us that we can take a pill to lose weight, or to solve some issue, when the answers lie within ourselves.  Granted it would be much easier to take a pill than to change the way we eat, or how we exercise, but anything worth having takes effort.

We have talked much about the power of thought and energy, to bring the events, people and things that you want into your life.  That is a universal law – whatever you give energy to, you will attract into your life.  The same is true here – if you expend energy to being healthy, you will attract health into your life.  That energy, comes in forms other than thought.  The mind creates the thoughts to say, “go exercise” and the body follows through on those thoughts.

Your actions define who you are.  When you begin a task, make sure that you see it through to the end.  If you do not intend to finish a task, it is best not to begin it until you know you can complete it.  Incomplete tasks lying around your house, are “energy leaks,” like a hose that is dripping water.   When a task is completed, its energy can be used elsewhere.

Know that you are the person who decides where and how you will spend your day’s energy.  It could be in negative states, such as anger, bitterness, fear, and worry, or it could be used to bring health, joy and happiness to you.  The choice is yours.  Use your day’s energy wisely!
