Your Thoughts

Posted - Jun• 13•16

The majority of the world is “good,”  It’s just that the “bad” is what we tend to remember.

Your life is full of memories.  The question is, “which memories are you holding onto?”  Many people tend to focus on the memories that brought them down, or made them feel bad.  We would like to challenge you to let the  no-so-good memories pass, while focusing on the positive events in your life.

As we have discussed many times, your thoughts define your emotions.  Your emotions impact your physical body.  Your body is the basis for housing your spirit.  You need to take care of your body, your emotions and your thoughts.  They all tie together.

When you find yourself dwelling on the negativity in your life and in the world, it is time for a “reset.”  Find a place where you can sit in quiet.  Maybe you go outside and sit in the grass, or you find a favorite chair in your home.  Take the time to close your eyes and simply let go of all of the chatter in your life.  Understand that your rehashing of the world’s events is not going to help anyone.  It’s okay, to take care of yourself.   Take the time to go in your mind to a “happy place.”  It’s okay to relax and to let go of the thoughts that are causing angst in your life.

Now, when you are sitting quietly, begin to think about your beacons.  Visualize yourself at your beacons.  That means, if you have a beacon that says, “I own a home,” you visualize yourself in that home.  See the home in your mind’s eye.  Feel your emotions on the day you move in.  Get yourself energized with the energy of that beacon, so that you can make it through the days ahead to earn the money necessary.  Do not let the distractions of the world take you off course.  It’s okay to take care of yourself, too.

Life is sometimes harsh, and sometimes joyous.  The key is to know that how your life plays out, begins with your thoughts.  Take the time to reset your thoughts so that you can think about the things that are really important to you!
